We’ve been hard at work dyeing up Superwash Chunky all summer-long, in preparation for the Craftsy Mystery Knit-Along that I am hosting starting November 1st! Without giving it all away, I just wanted to give you a little sneak peek into what we’ll be making for the knit-along.
The November knit-along project will be for a quick and cosy cowl, knit in one skein of Superwash Chunky, a 100% superwash merino yarn. We chose Terra Firma for a soft, rosy Autumnal colourway. I’ll work with you step-by-step to show you exactly how to knit this cowl. The cowl would be great for last-minute holiday gifts! I knit one with just a few hours of binge-watching the West Wing on Netflix.
And if you have questions, just ask them on the Craftsy platform and either myself or your fellow knitters will help you along. Leave no knitter behind. That’s my mission.

Just receive the yarn for the November KnitAlong. The colour is flat and dull; it doesn’t look anything like the photo above or the colourway shown on the site. What a disappointment. I love Craftsy, but this yarn is too ugly to use.

I am so sorry to hear this! We had some skeins shipped to us from the mill that were a slightly different “hand” than we were used to they might have slipped through our shipping process. It sounds like you have received one of these skeins. It is NOT typical of our Superwash Chunky yarn and I don’t want you to be unhappy with this yarn or the KAL. I would be more than happy to send you a new skein for the KAL. Just email me your mailing address and we’ll send a new skein out right away. Or please let me know how we can make this right for you.

Hi Felicia, Like Kathy my yarn arrived last week, and I was rather disappointed with the color, not very vibrant , and looking dull. I have to say I was expecting more from this offer.

I just found this site. The yarn I received is very dull and sound like the ones described by the other two knitters. I would love to be able to get a replacement thar was more like the pictures and feel if sweet Georgia. Is this still a possibility?
