Talinum by Tabetha Hedrick

28 April, 2017

I am enchanted with the colours of spring, from the rich greens to the bold blooms of poppies, lilacs, azaleas, and hydrangeas. Working with this Jelly Bean Party of Five set took my imagination right into the wildflower fields.

Talinum, a large, lacey cowl worked in the bright bold colours of the Jelly Bean Party of Five set, is the epitome of spring. Welcome in the warmer months with this lightweight delight and its easy, breezy stitches.

Tabetha’s Top Tip

As you run low on yarn, [wet/spit] splice it with the next colour for a more natural, organic transition. This also allows you to fully use up every inch of yarn!

Feel free to experiment with the colour placement! You might be more inclined to work smaller blocks of colour all the way around, or perhaps in random stripes. The options are completely open-ended, resulting in a spring cowl that is personal for you.

Talinum is available as an individual pattern or in the Spring with SweetGeorgia, Vol. 2 eBook both on our website and on Ravelry. Tabetha spends most of her time here on SweetGerogia, but you can also find her at www.tabethahedrick.com or on Instagram as @tabismiles.
