Today on the show, we chat with Caitlin Ffrench, a textile artist working in East Vancouver. Caitlin and I met about six or seven years ago when she was working at one of our local yarn stores, Baaad Anna’s, and she wanted to buy a gift for the shop owner, Anna, at that time. And since that day, Caitlin and her partner Arlin, have both come to visit SweetGeorgia so many times and I’ve had the great pleasure seeing Caitlin dive into her work as a knitwear designer, natural dyer, and fibre arts teacher. Caitlin has a strong voice as an artist and an undeniably unique aesthetic to her work. I’m excited to share her work and her perspective with you today.
