Ignite . . . an Affair with Art

As is quickly becoming obvious to me, I’m going to be teaching spinning and dyeing this fall at Place des Arts in Coquitlam. Never experienced the joy that is PdA? You can come down and see it for yourself!

Place des Arts is hosting an open house this coming Thursday evening where you can tour the facility and the fabulously cozy fiber arts room, watch demos and meet the teachers. I’ll be spinning in the fiber arts room along with Rosie who will be teaching and demonstrating table/floor loom weaving, and Catherine who will be demonstrating inkle loom weaving. I hear there’s also going to be live music and door prizes. Here’s the details:

Fine art, inspiration and a glass of wine — the perfect way to spend an evening!

Ignite your creative fire and discover something new at Place des Arts’ adults-only open house held in conjunction with our September exhibitions opening reception. Sip a complimentary glass of wine while you view artworks and enjoy floor talks by current exhibiting artists including Place des Arts’ talented teachers and staff.
