I love the way the increases and decreases within each individual colour section allow the lines to curve smoothly, rather than showing the usual angular edges in much colour work.

Jill Wright’s genius comes from the drive to play, experiment, and explore how techniques and shape can work together. In Flexion, knit with Superwash DK, that drive comes to life in an amazing way. With a hint of intarsia, two contrasting colours twist together for the perfect A-line tunic, taking this pullover from glam to slam. The small details, such as the button closure and shaped sleeve caps, make this a must-knit for everyone and a chic piece for the year-round wardrobe.

Jill’s tip for knitting Flexion

Be sure that you pull your yarns fairly taut at the crossover twist in the back whilst working the straight vertical lines. Once you get to the curves, the steeper the curve, the looser the twist at the back should be to avoid puckering.
