Asante, available as a free download, is a rich, deep cowl perfect for late-fall knitting. Simple stitches and a cozy construction merge into an enchantingly classic piece that you’ll love to wear year-round. It highlights our Party of Five Mini Skein Sets gloriously.

  • Skill Level: Easy
  • Finished Measurements: 20 ½” / 52 cm circumference; 26” / 66 cm height, from CO edge to BO edge
  • Yarn: 2 SweetGeorgia Yarns Party of Five Sets– Superwash Worsted in Rusted and Golddigger– 5-mini skein sets at 105 yards each (250 yd / 288 m per 5 oz / 140 g total mini skeins; 100% Superwash Merino)
  • Needles & Notions: US 7 / 4.5 mm and US 8 / 5.0 mm circular needles, 24” / 60 cm long. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge. 6 stitch markers (one in a different colour to indicate beginning of rnd), yarn needle
  • Gauge: 16 sts and 25 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in blocked stockinette stitch pattern, using larger needle. Note that gauge is not crucial, but will affect required yardage and finished size.
