“The ease of this stole is so wonderful, perfect for every beginner knitter. But, I especially love how you can play with colour to your heart’s content.” – Tabetha
Lief is one of our new shawl patterns from the Fall with SweetGeorgia, Vol. 3 collection and we are enchanted with its easy decadence. Simple basketweave ribbing accentuates the rich tonal colours, making a project that is comfort-evoking from start to finish. With two different yarn weight options, either fingering weight using Party of Five or in bulky with five colours of Superwash Soft, knitters of every style can knit this stole for perfect year-round wear.
The pattern is written to accommodate slight yardage variations in yarn. As you run out of yarn in one colour, simply join the next colour with your favourite method (such as wet splicing or knitting in ends as you go) and continue working as established.
