SweetGeorgia Yarns Mystery Shawl: Clue Three

The last clue is here!! You might be excitedly nearing the end or, perhaps you slowed down a little more than some of the other participants. Either option is completely okay and it is our sincerest hope that the colours and textures of this project filled you with joy. The goal here was to savor, have fun, and discover simple ways of pairing beautiful hues together.

The pattern, Cederberg Shawl, was slated for an October 31st release date, but based on some feedback, we are going to hold off one more week (Nov 7) so that everyone has a little extra time for completion. Think you can do it?

We have one more tutorial for you, to help finish up this pattern – the Elastic Bind-Off. It’s Tabetha’s fave bind-off to use because it is stretchy, suuuuper easy, and has a decorative element that works beautifully for nearly every edge. We’ve had a photo tutorial (that you can see HERE), but in the interest of advancing technologies, we thought a little video would delight a few more of you.

Use the hashtags #sweetgeorgiayarns and #sgymkal when sharing with the community so that everyone can share in your progress.

Most of the fun, though, will be on the Sweet SweetGeorgia Ravelry Group where we will have announcements, chat, and spoiler threads. Come join in the fun! You’ll find two new threads especially for Clue One —

  • A NO SPOILERS thread where you can ask questions and share thoughts. No pictures are allowed of your work-in-progress here. This allows everyone to keep the mystery going.
  • A SPOILERS thread where you are welcome to post any progress photos you’d like.

Help out the other knitters participating by keeping your work-in-progress photos quiet, such as using one of the graphics for your main project page photo or as the first image on your Instagram shares. You can visit THIS POST for those graphics.
