Knitting, SweetGeorgia

Kresla by Pauliina Karru

It is interesting to see the scarf grow with the changing stitch patterns and colourway combinations. I like the simplicity of it, how meditative it is while still very functional and classic.

Explore the collusion of texture and colour with this delectably easy stitch sampler scarf. Kresla, from designer Pauliina Karru, uses garter, seed, and moss stitch, paired with two strands of colour, for an explosion of gorgeous, addictive-to-knit fabric.

The scarf is knit flat with an I-cord on both edges and is knit using two strands of yarn held together. The MC is carried throughout the pattern and is combined with a different colour from the mini-skeins to create a gradient effect.
