Collaboration + connection. For us at SweetGeorgia, that’s where it all starts. Our new Ambassador Program is a way to support the very makers who inspire us. By partnering with our brand, you become an extension of SweetGeorgia and an inspiration to our friends and customers. Your dedication to the fibre community, paired with our products, courses, and events, is the perfect opportunity to do big things … together.
Watch our short video here introducing the idea behind our new SweetGeorgia Ambassador Program and see if this might be a way that we can collaborate and work together!
What we are looking for
We’re looking for yarn-loving, colour-hungry makers who not only strive for innovation, but have managed to harness their creativity in a way that both engages and educates the craft community. Our ambassadors believe in authentic, mindful connections and use that to fuel their passionate storytelling about life, craft, and business. They are energetic leaders, movers and shakers, community builders, social media masters, or engaged teachers with gorgeous photos, strong followings, fingers on the pulse of the community, and a desire to help promote SweetGeorgia Yarns. Our Ambassadors are not sales representatives and do not fill any role relating to in-person appearances.
Are you a good fit?
As fibre-makers, our Ambassadors love working with SweetGeorgia Yarns. You have a strong social media presence with a strong focus on fibre, making, crafting, and intertwining it with life. Our Ambassadors may have a blog (weekly posts) and active social media outlets (daily posts). Ideal candidates are more than hobbyists and are working towards building their personal brand within the fibre-world.
What’s in it for you?
Member of this year’s Ambassador Program will receive an exclusive care package filled to the brim with our yarns, patterns, and products. Our makers will receive an invitation to School of SweetGeorgia and exclusive access to an Ambassador-only forum on Slack. Early pattern previews, samples of new yarns as they come out, special invitations to our publications, features on our social media channels, and unique Maker Challenges are all part of the deal. Your biggest cheerleaders (us!) will support your project yarn needs throughout the term.
How to apply
The Ambassador Program is open to yarn lovers worldwide. It is important that the team represents our community in a way that celebrates diversity and a commitment to inclusivity. The program runs on an annual term – a full year of meaningful collaboration!
To sign up, please fill out the form. UPDATE: We are currently updating our Ambassador program and applications are closed at this time. Thank you so much for your interest!
