Holidays with SweetGeorgia, Vol. 5

It’s early November here in Tennessee, which means the leaves are only in the middle of shifting from summer to fall. Warm days are still easing us into the approaching cold, with crisp scents and fading blooms. It is one of my favourite months in the south.

Whether it is the way dark evergreens take on a more prominent texture, the pop of orange pumpkins and yellow chrysanthemums decorating the porches down my street, or the sleepy way the sun shoots pink across the dark sky later in the morning, but something about this season softens me.

There might be a rush of hustle and bustle outside as the approaching holidays beckon, but the inside… oh, the inside wants to slow down into making, taking time to savour soft fibres and easy stitches.

The six beautiful accessories in our new Holidays with SweetGeorgia, Vol. 5 collection are all about that sweet time, encouraging us to indulge in colours and patterns that bring us simple joy. From hats to shawls, knit and crochet, each piece brings about a wonder of play, comfort, and satisfaction.

You can see all the patterns in the lookbook here:

You can also get any pattern in Holidays with SweetGeorgia, Vol. 5 for 30% off with the code: SGYHOLIDAY19 on either our website or on Ravelry. The sale ends at midnight on November 18, so don’t wait too long.

The very act of making is a gift we give ourselves and we hope that these accessories bring you back to that wonder.

Happy knitting, dear friends.
