Our Autumn with SweetGeorgia, Vol. 6 pattern collection is now live!
Those warm summer days are right at the precipice of ebbing away. One moment we’re standing on the edge of roasting s’mores by the campfire, and the next, we’re knee deep in autumn leaves and a chilled breeze. The transition is so subtle, so silent, that we miss it if we aren’t paying attention.
For me, knitting harnesses a bit of that subtle shift into a new season. Stitch by stitch, I get to practice changing, making adjustments and readjustments, leaving old patterns and making new mistakes… but (thankfully) with a much smaller commitment. Lace to texture, increases to decreases, colour to colour, old skill to new skill, knitting helps us explore fresh territory… And sometimes, we make the shift from beginner to advanced without even realizing it. Those subtle transitions have a way of surprising us.
And surprise! We’re here with the launch of our newest Autumn with SweetGeorgia, Vol. 6 collection!

In our Autumn Vol. 6 collection this year, we’re taking a bit of a literal take on transition. We’re playing with changes in colour, stitch, and even fibre with the gorgeous shawls, accessories, and garments that our team of designers have dreamed up. Perfect for layering, these eight pieces (six knit and two crochet) span the season, promising soft comfort and wearable sophistication. It’s about exploration and re-discovery of just what inspires and moves us. Go ahead and take a peek at the gorgeous designs in the Autumn with SweetGeorgia, Vol. 6 Lookbook:
The magic, though, is that beneath the literal lies the growth (knitting and crochet can be sneaky that way). With each piece we make, each pattern we practice, we change before our very own eyes. Change in how we work, how we knit or crochet, how we might even live and think and do. Before we know it, we’re in a new season, discovering amazing things about ourselves that we didn’t even know existed before. Throughout it all, we’re here to enable that fibre-craft road as much as we can with yarn, drool-worthy colours, and workshops + tutorials (stay tuned for new tutorials on the School of SweetGeorgia).
