Spring flowers are popping up around us, and the earth feels as though it’s ready to burst with new life and colour. And with the official arrival of spring soon here, we’re happy to share the news of our upcoming 2021 SweetGeorgia Spring Make-Along, running from April 13 to May 11!
This year, we’re also adding in a little something extra to our MAL with a celebration of lace, where you can earn bonus giveaway entry points for using either a lace pattern or lace-weight yarn in your project. Celebrate spring by wrapping up in the beauty of lightweight lacy projects!

How Can I Participate?
Participation will take place in the School of SweetGeorgia 2021 Spring Make-Along Club, where all of the fun chat, photo sharing, and project posting will take place. Feel free to also share your WIP photos and successes across social media as well – tag your posts with #sgyspringmal2021!

Giveaway Rules
You can join us for making anything, but to be eligible for an entry for our prize giveaway draw, your project must:
- Made using SweetGeorgia yarn or fibre content (using either just some in your project, or all) – OR – be a SweetGeorgia pattern. Bonus entry points for using any lace pattern or lace-weight yarn!
- Cast-on on, or after, April 13, 2021.
- Shared in the SOS discussion thread: “Spring MAL Giveaway Entries” (to make sure we don’t miss it) – OR – tag your Instagram posts with #sgyspringmal2021. One entry for each image tagged!
Prizes
For each entry that follows the rules, you’ll be entered into a draw to win one of three Spring Prize Packs, including some of the latest seasonal releases at SweetGeorgia! We will have options available for you to choose either a knitting and crochet, spinning or weaving prize pack.
