What I Learned About Co-Working vs Livestream Crafting Time

2 June, 2023

So, last Friday I tried something for the very first time. I hosted a live one-hour, virtual co-working session with the members of the School of SweetGeorgia. We sat for an hour in the Zoom room, being super focused, super quiet, and getting a lot of work done. At the same time, I also live streamed my actual work process to YouTube where many of you got to watch me weave off the rest of my project and beam the warp for my next project. Now today, I want to talk a little bit about the process and what I learned.

I hope to see you online later today, June 2nd, at the following craft sessions:

One of the things I value about learning is to try things, figure out what’s working and not working, tweak, and reiterate. All of these things are part of the entire learning process whether it’s about the fibre arts or anything else we’re doing. I value that process. I hope that you will join me as I continue to experiment with all of these different ways of sharing with you the things that we’re doing, the things that we’re making, and how we’re making them.
