Charlotte could probably better tell you when these food challenges started happening at the studio, but for some time now, about once a month, the team at the SweetGeorgia studio does a little staff potluck on a Friday lunch based on a food theme. There have been salads days and cookie exchanges, taco challenges and pasta buffets… but today’s food challenge was summer berries. Here’s just a little taste of what we got to share this afternoon:

And here’s the team at lunch… we definitely need a bigger dining table.

After devouring a piece of every dessert, the girls organized themselves for a group photo to record their progress on the Birds of a Feather Shawl KAL they started at the studio…

I love this photo of Leah checking out her new Onigiri charm stitch marker that she made too…

Sometimes I’m holed away at my computer, chipping away at my work in the internets, but then other times, I come to the studio and I’m surrounded by the happy chatter of knitters and dyers passionately talking about their projects or passionately arguing about the latest Power Rangers movie. I get to catch up and catch my breath, and see progress on the things we’re collectively working on. It’s always a pleasure. So I thank everybody for taking time out of their evenings and personal time to make these goodies that we get to share and enjoy. It’s just so so so lovely. Happy Friday everybody.
