Knit City 2019: A Recap

11 October, 2019

Knit City is easily one of the greatest highlights of our calendar, every year. It’s the one time when we get a chance to meet face-to-face with old friends, internet friends, and meet brand new friends too. It reminds me that our community is more than a collection of Instagram accounts… this community is made up of beautiful, real people who deeply love knitting, yarn, and fibre.

This weekend was full of activity and this week’s episode of Taking Back Friday shows a little of the behind-the-scenes of the show »

It goes without saying that I am very thankful for the opportunities that SweetGeorgia has to participate in Knit City and provide sponsorship. It’s an incredible event and we thank Amanda and Fiona for working so hard to continually improve this event, year after year. And of course, I thank our amazing team at SweetGeorgia for going above and beyond to make every detail of our show run like clockwork.

And finally, thank you to all the knitters, podcast listeners, vlog followers, and friends who came over to say hello and to tell me that they enjoy what we create. It means the world to me. Hope to see you all again next year!
