• yarn: 2 skeins SweetGeorgia Yarns Trinity Worsted in Terra Firma (200 yds / 182 m per 4 oz / 115 g skein; 70% Superwash Merino, 20% Cashmere, 10% Silk)
• needles: Size 9 US / 5.5 mm needles
  Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
• gauge: 17 sts and 22 rows = 4″ / 10 cm in stockinette stitch
  28 sts and 16 rows – 4″ / 10 cm in pattern
  Note that gauge is not crucial, but will affect required yardage and finished size.
