Introducing a new collection of patterns by Christine Jablonski – designed for rigid heddle weavers looking to expand their skills.
In this collection, GIST created four rigid heddle weaving projects that will introduce you to a variety of techniques including pick-up stick floats, Leno lace, colour-and-weave, and weft-faced weaving using string heddles with a heddle rod.
The collection contains four PDF patterns and all of the yarn needed to make a coordinated table set: one table runner, four placemats, napkins and coasters. The projects can be woven in any order, but we suggest saving the coasters for last.
You can choose from four colour combinations that are themed by season. Pick your favourite, or try all four to adorn your table year round!
Included with each kit:
- 1 cone of Duet Cotton/Linen
- 2 contrasting cones of Mallo Cotton Slub
- 2 contrasting cones of Beam Organic Cotton
- 2 contrasting tubes of Array Wool
- 4 patterns – table runner, placemats, napkins and coasters
These rigid heddle loom projects can be woven in any order, but we recommend saving the coasters for last as you are building your skills.
- Pick-up Stick Runner
- Log Cabin Placemats (set of four)
- Leno Napkins (set of four)
- Weft-faced Coasters (set of four)
