Come explore the fibre arts this summer!
During each week-long camp, Katrina will be guiding kids through felting, dyeing, knitting, spinning, weaving and crocheting projects. We will be concentrating on having fun and creating items that are simple, yet engaging. Kids will be coming home each day with the small projects that they have completed.
The camp is aimed at children between 7 and 13, but ages 6 and up are welcome.
Materials are included for the projects being made, however, the tools are not. The kids will be using a class set for knitting needles, bookmark looms, bracelet looms, spindles, wheels, crochet hooks and felting needles. All these are available for purchase if they would like to continue with a particular craft.

Katrina, a professional photographer by trade, has had an obsession with fibre all her life. She learned to knit and crochet as a child, but her passion was truly ignited when she learned to spin in 2014. She loves the thought that every individual who looks at a braid of fibre or runs their fingers over a skein of yarn will create their own unique functional piece of art. Something to be enjoyed for years to come. You can find her on Instagram as @craftyjaks or on Ravelry as CraftyJAKs.
