It’s early November here in Tennessee, which means the leaves are only in the middle of shifting from summer to fall. Warm days are still easing us into the approaching cold, with crisp scents and fading blooms. It is one of my favourite months in the south.
Whether it is the way dark evergreens take on a more prominent texture, the pop of orange pumpkins and yellow chrysanthe- mums decorating the porches down my street, or the sleepy way the sun shoots pink across the dark sky later in the morn- ing, but something about this season soft- ens me.
There might be a rush of hustle and bustle outside as the approaching holidays beckon, but the inside… oh, the inside wants to slow down into making, taking time to savour soft fibres and easy stitches.
The six beautiful accessories in our Holiday collection are all about that sweet time, encouraging us to indulge in colours and patterns that bring us simple joy. From hats to shawls, knit and crochet, each piece brings about a wonder of play, comfort, and satisfaction.
The very act of making is a gift we give ourselves and we hope that these accessories bring you back to that wonder.
Patterns included: Evening Glitz, a rectangular stole; Meraki, a mosaic cowl; Night Lights, an asymmetrical scarf; Yorkshire Diamonds, a slouchy hat + mitt set; Alanna, a fringed scarf; and Vivi, a triangular shawl.
