Inspired by the Moeraki Boulders in New Zealand, this crescent shawl features a striking stitch pattern reminiscent of walks on rock-strewn beaches. The easy-to-remember repeat, paired with garter stitch and short-row shaping, makes for a captivating project.
- yarn: 3 skeins SweetGeorgia Yarns Mohair Silk DK in London Fog (218 yd / 200 m per 3.5 oz / 100 g skein; 90% Superwash Merino, 5% Super Kid Mohair, 5% Silk)
- needles: Size 6 US / 4 mm circular needles, 40″ / 100 cm long
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge. - gauge: 22 sts and 30 rows = 4″ / 10 cm in St stitch, after blocking
Note that gauge is not crucial, but will affect required yardage and finished size. - finished measurements: 14″ / 25.5 cm x 64″ / 162.5 cm
