Sizes: The overall shape and dimensions are part of the mystery! Starflake will be a large shawl, but not as big as last year’s Texture Time shawl.

Yardage: MC – 800 yds / 730 m and CC – 800 yds / 730 m
CHOOSING YARN
Stephen West designed this year’s shawl to feature two colours for a high contrast graphic design. He recommends choosing two colours that have a high contrast to see the crisp lines and details of the shawl. The shawl will be equally beautiful with a lower contrast if you prefer a softer, more subtle effect. Use solid, semi-solid, or lightly speckled yarns. Avoid heavily speckled or variegated yarns for this design as they may obscure the design details.
