The Ten-Year-Old Fair Isle Sweater

25 January, 2019

In cleaning out my yarn stash and craft room, I’ve unearthed several super old knitting projects. One of them is the Fair Isle Yoke cardigan (by Elizabeth Zimmerman) that I started knitting exactly ten years ago this month. It’s been languishing with my yarn stash for years and now I’m finally going to steek it and finish it.

But, I also came across other old projects that I started but have little desire to finish. How do you decide what to keep, and what to rip? What projects do you want to take with you into the future?

I’d love for you to check out today’s episode of Taking Back Friday and tell me what you think about super old works-in-progress!
