It’s as if I blinked too long and missed the start. Suddenly, the pear trees are blooming with abundant white flowers and daffodils are tall and bold against a backdrop of dark grasses. Just one day ago, it was winter with dull, grey skies and starkly empty trees. And then, a day later, the earth is abuzz under my feet with a pulsing rebirth.
It is that explosion of colour that drives a certain point home: the energy and effort that went into making it all has been churning beneath the surface. In the quiet dark of winter, the internal work was all about re-defining and nourishing for a new, amazing season of growth. Putting a spring + summer collection together feels like that.

For months and months, our team of dyers and designers have been busily putting all the pieces into place so that the colours and yarns burst off the page as brightly as those new blooms outside. A new sense of wonder and play invigorate the crafting mindset. The designers in this collection(Deborah Newton, Cheryl Toy, Sandi Rosner, Kristen TenDyke, Tanja Luescher, and Christine Marie Chen) harness that beautiful spirit as if they were made for it, knitting pieces and silhouettes that are whimsical, playful, and wondrously light. Soft fibers meet addictive stitches and fresh colour for knits that are the essence of the season.
You can view the Spring with SweetGeorgia, Vol. 4 Lookbook here:
